Taylor, David Lee

David Lee Taylor, age 79 of Hiwassee passed away Wednesday evening July 16, 2008 at the New River Valley Medical Center.

Born February 1, 1929 in Pulaski he was the son of the late Otha Lee Taylor & Myrtle Emeline Bowman Taylor. His wife; Marjorie Elouise Newbern Taylor also preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Hiwassee Pentecostal Holiness Church and a veteran of the United States Army & Air Force having served during the Korean Conflict.

Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 A.M. at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Bobby Lewis officiating.

Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday evening.

The family will be meeting at the home of his son; Lyndell Taylor (2393 Julia Simpkins Road, Hiwassee – behind Hiwassee Pentecostal Church).
