Taylor, Curtis Wade

Curtis Wade Taylor, 53, of Radford, VA, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at UVA Medical Center. He was born October 31, 1967 at Radford, VA, the son of the late Roger Lee & Barbara Johnson Taylor.

Curtis was a jokester, always had something funny to say, and always trying to make you laugh. He was a lineman for the power lines. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a really good dad to his boys and will be greatly missed.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Tony Taylor and James Taylor.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Brandon W. Taylor and Cody S. Taylor and their mother, Judy Eaton Mottesheard; his brothers & sister-in-law, Dennis Taylor, Alan Taylor and F. Colby & Stacy Taylor; nieces & nephew, Chelsie Taylor, Kelly Taylor, Sarah Taylor, Miranda Burton, Brooke Taylor and Tony Taylor, Jr.; an uncle, Walter “Buddy” Taylor and many special friends.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, May 9, 2021 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. He will be cremated and laid to rest at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
