amem_resurrection.jpgBarbara Ann Burton Taylor, 70, of 3780 Sayers Road, Draper, Va., went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, April 30, 2009. She was born in Pulaski, Va., on June 11, 1938, and was the daughter of the late David Monroe Burton and Nettie O’Dell Burton. She was also preceded in death by her son, Keith Taylor; brothers, Marvel Burton, Jack Burton and Thomas Burton; and by sisters, Opal Burton, Eunice Sauer and Juanita Goad. Surviving are her husband and love of life, Denton Taylor, of Draper; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Doug Jones, of Greensboro, N.C., Renee and Jack Wilson, of Fincastle, and Lynn and Walter Reno, of Draper; grandchildren and spouses, Kevin and Melanie Jones, of Greensboro, N.C., Jackie and Jake Saunders, of Strasburg, Timothy and Amber Reno, of Snowville, Amanda and Mike Lancaster, of Queen Creek, Ariz., Leslie Wilson, of Fincastle, Erin Jones, of Greensboro, N.C., Bradley Reno, of Draper, Makenzie Reno, of Draper, and Bryan Reno, of Draper; great-grandchildren, Camden and Avery Saunders, of Strasburg, and Varity Lancaster, of Queen Creek, Ariz.; and sisters, Marie Kingrea and Zenith Taylor, both of Pulaski. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 3, 2009, from Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Christian Church Cemetery, Draper. Visiting will be Saturday evening, May 2, 2009, from the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. D’Amico, Tina Hoback, Good Samaritan Hospice, Pulaski Hospital and friends.
