Talbert Jr., Paris William

Paris William Talbert Jr., 71, of White Gate Community, Pearisburg, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at his home. He was born November 16, 1942 in Dublin, Va., the son of Bertha Talbert and the late Paris W. Talbert Sr. He is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Tommy Farmer. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty Talbert; a son, Bill (Samantha) Talbert; a daughter, Lisa (Todd) Jones; two grandsons, Chris (Kelly) Talbert and Josh Talbert; brother-in-law, Jackie Warner; three sisters, Elizabeth (Ernest) Miller, Patricia Farmer and Barbara Spangler; two brothers, Michael (Joyce) Talbert and Danny (Bonnie) Talbert; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate, with the Rev. Ernest Chinault officiating. Burial in Stinson Cemetery, White Gate with pall bearers, Chris and Josh Talbert, Dennis Albert, Ronnie Fanning, Todd Jones and Zeb Bowden. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.
