Talbert, Daniel Ray
Daniel Ray Talbert, 68, of Pulaski, VA, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022, at his home. He was born December 18, 1953 in Giles County, VA, the son of Paris, Sr. & Bertha Wright Talbert.
Danny enjoyed to hunt & fish. He was an assembler at Volvo for 44 years. He enjoyed playing slot machines. He was a simple, quiet, country man, who was most happy sitting on his porch watching the deer.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Paris William, Sr. & Bertha Elizabeth Wright Talbert, and his brother & sister-in-law, Paris, Jr. & Betty Warner Talbert.
Left to cherish his memory are his childhood sweetheart and loving wife of almost 50 years, Bonnie Bane Talbert; his son & daughter-in-law, Kevin & Brittany Talbert; his grandchildren, Tyler, Tanner and Haley; his brother & sister-in-law, Mike & Joyce Talbert; his sisters & brother-in-law, Elizabeth & Ernest Miller, Barbara Spangler and Patricia Farmer; special friend and brother-in-law, Lewis (“Tom”) Bane; and several special nieces, special nephews and special friends, too many to list.
Per Danny’s wishes, he will be cremated and no public services are planned at this time.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Matthew Kaatz for his care during Danny’s sickness.

I worked alongside Danny for many years, shared a lot of good times, he was a friend and will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.

No words can ever express my sadness for the loss of Danny. We shared over 55 years of friendship enduring good times, bad times, happy times and sad times. We could always depend on each other for support. My heart now has a void that can never be filled until we meet again.
