Tabor, Margaret Simpkins

Margaret Simpkins Tabor, 80, of Radford, died Tuesday, February 19, 2008, in Carilion New River Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Tabor; and a son, Jimmy Tabor. Surviving are two sons, Larry Wayne Tabor, Radford, and Russell Tabor and wife, Teresa Tabor, Belspring; her daughter, Joyce Doss and her husband, Robert, Max Meadows; three sisters, Frances Collins, Staffordsville, Carroll Bennett, Trigg, and Louise Kirk and her husband, Walter, Rich Creek; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Newton and Tamara Simpkins, Draper, Don and Marie Simpkins and Ronnie and Sylvia Simpkins, all of Charlottesville; eight grandchildren, Brenda Bratton (Sanford), Pulaski, Terry Edwards, Riner, Margie Tabor (Randall) Christiansburg, Trina Wall, Fairlawn, Theresa Gravley, Dublin, Brittany Doss, Max Meadows, Kasey Burton, Riner, and Jordan Simmons, Blacksburg; ten greatgrandchildren; two greatgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 22, 2008, at the DeVilbiss Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2008, at the DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford, Va.
