Synan, Jerry Dale

Jerry Dale Synan, age 62, of Newport, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014. He was predeceased by his mother, Elaine Jones.

Jerry was a very loving, tender hearted father and grandfather who extended his love to animal rescue ; keeping up to four dogs at a time for adoption. Jerry was also very involved with dog agility training. He made himself available to help those in need. He enjoyed sports, bowling, Nascar and was a die hard football fan of the Buffalo Bills.

Left to cherish his memory are his father, Charlie “Don” Synan; son, Chris Synan (Amy); granddaughter, Heidi Synan; brother, Terry Synan; sister, Donna Dalton and his dear border collie “Tutti”.

There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends on Thursday, October 30, 2014, at 6 p.m. in the Valley Chapel. Special thanks to the ICU doctors and staff of Lewis-Gale Montgomery Hospital.
