Swinburne, Elizabeth Glenn

Elizabeth Glenn Swinburne, 94, of Pulaski, died Friday December 14, 2007. She was born on February 26, 1913 in Pulaski, and was the daughter of the late Elizabeth White Glenn and James Richard Glenn.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pulaski, Va., a graduate of the Pulaski High School Class of 1929, and a graduate of the Mary Washington Univeristy in Fredericksburg, Va. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred James Swinburne, and two brothers, Lt. Col. Donald White Glenn, and James Richard Glenn, Jr. She is survived by her son, Charles Richard Boley of Pulaski.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday December 19, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons, Pulaski. The family will visit briefly following the service in the chapel. Memorials may be made to any local Pulaski charity.
