Sweeney, Donna Lee

Donna Lee Sweeney, 58, formerly of Floyd, a 1973 graduate of Floyd County High School, passed away in Pittsburgh, Pa., Monday, February 11, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents, M.L. Sweeney and Edith Sweeney.

She is survived by two brothers, Brock Sweeney and Scott Linkous; one sister, Teresa Epperly; stepmother, Arlene Radford; special aunt, Virginia (Aunt June) Peters; aunts and uncles, Bill Vest, Irvin Vest, Bruce Sweeney, Max Sweeney, Barry Sweeney, Douglas Sweeney, Daphine Sowers, and Cindy Eanes; special friend, John Boucher; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013, in the Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Darren Landon officiating. Interment will follow in the Stonewall Cemetery, Floyd. Friends may visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
