Sutphin, Ronnie Lee

Ronnie Lee Sutphin, 68, of Willis, passed away on February 1, 2021. He was born on May 20, 1952 to the late Ewell Leonard Sutphin and Treva Gay Bolt Sutphin.

Ronnie spent his life preaching the gospel for many years traveling around the world. He genuinely loved people, never met a stranger and he especially loved God.

He is preceded in death by three brothers, Ray, David, and Randy Sutphin. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 32 short years, Fern Weeks Sutphin; son, Brian Sutphin of Wytheville; grandchildren, Laurel Leigh, and Skylon Brent Sutphin of Hillsville; Sister-in-law, Debbie Sutphin of Floyd; brother, Richard (Ruby) Sutphin; sister, Marlene (Cecil) Compton of Floyd; Sister-in-law, Betty Sutphin of Shippensburg PA; along with many nieces, nephews, friends, and some very good shooting buddies.

A memorial service will be scheduled in the spring to be held at Alderman Cemetery.
