Sutphin, Carl Henry

Carl Henry Sutphin, 82, of Montgomery County, left this earth to be with Jesus Christ on Monday, February 29, 2016.He was born on March 9, 1933 to the late William McKinley and Mary Spaulding Sutphin.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years, Violet Sutphin; a son, Glen Sutphin; two daughters, Judy Sutphin McNeal and Carolyn Sutphin Harris; two sisters, Ethel Fizer and Sally Duncan; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

He will always be remembered for his love and kindness towards others and his great love for his Savior Jesus Christ. We love you, Dad. We will all see you, when God calls us home.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday March 1, 2016 at the Spaulding Family Cemetery in Montgomery County, VA with the Reverend Randolph Woolwine officiating.
