Surratt, Violet Marie

VIOLET MARIE SURRATT, age 93 of Pulaski, died Thursday evening October 28, 2010 in Lewis Gale Hospital of Pulaski. She was born April 21, 2017 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Hattie Bond Surratt and Stephen Floyd Surratt. She was Baptist by faith, and formerly attended the First Baptist Church in Pulaski. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers and sisters: Ruby Bell, Pherba Pulliam, Georgia Hendricks, James Surratt, Alice Mae Largen, Kathleen Hughett, and Stanley Surratt. She is survived by a niece; Joyce Bell of Pulaski: a nephew; Fred Bell and his fiancé, Barbara Petty of Pulaski: Special great niece’s and great nephew; Carrie Bell, Leann Ayers, and Chuck Bell, and their mother, Nancy Ayers. Also survived by many other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday November 1, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Seagle Funeral Home with the Rev. David Hoover officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends Sunday at the funeral home from 5 until 7 p.m.
