Stump, Ralph Maynard

Ralph Maynard Stump, 76, of Copper Hill, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2007. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor (Tootsie) Stump; his father and mother, Issac Newton and Rosa Belle Wilson Stump; and brother, Newton H. Stump.

He is survived by his son, Ralph Wayne Stump and wife, Melissa; granddaughter, Samantha Stump; sisters, Irene Moran and Sylvia Yopp; and friend, Raymond, all of Copper Hill; nieces and nephews, Glenna and husband, Tom Bell, Bobbie Jean Worrell, Wade Yopp and friend, April Angell, Jeff and wife, Michelle Yopp, Frank and wife, Maxine Moran, Terry and wife Dreama Moran, Betty Moran, Michael Stump and friend, Gail, all of Copper Hill, Charolette Goodwin of Roanoke, Becky Sell of Charlottesville, Debbie Stump of Copper Hill, special cousins, Hilda Radford of Copper Hill, many cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Wood Funeral Home with the Rev. Maurice Wright officiating with interment in the Restvale Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 20, 2007 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home in Floyd.
