STUMP, Minnie Florence

Minnie Florence Stump, 93, of Check passed away Saturday, June 17, 2006 in the New River Valley Medical Center.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Earl David and Claudine Stump of Check; two grandchildren, Mary Anne Bain and David and Kim Stump; four great-grandchildren, Anthony Bain and Becky, Brandon Bain, Garland Orange and Cayden Stump; two sisters, Elsie Stump of Roanoke and Christine Stanley of Fincastle.

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, June 17, 2006 at Wood Funeral Home in Floyd with Pastor Dusty Etter and the Rev. Irvin Sloan, officiating with interment in the Restvale Cemetery.

A special thanks to her caregivers, Vicky Potter and Gary and Jane Smith for their loving care.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home in Floyd.
