Stump, Herman Gene

Herman Gene Stump, 77, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2010. He was born on October 8, 1932, in Pearisburg, Va. to the late Lewis Henry and Julie Mamie Stump. Herman was a Veteran in the United States Army. He retired from Westinghouse after many years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Emory, Howard, Hazelton “Hatchet”, Helen, Frances, and Zack. Survivors include his sister in-law, Virginia Stump; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and greatnephews. Friends may call Thursday, April 22, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Givens Funeral Home, Pearisburg, Va. 24134 where funeral service will be held Friday, April 23, 2010, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg, Va.
