Stump, Claudine Huffman

Claudine Huffman Stump, 75 of Newport, VA departed this life January 8, 2022 in the care of Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital. Born in Craig County, Virginia on November 23, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Jessie Huffman and Virginia Sanders Huffman.

Claudine was employed for over 20 years by Virginia Tech Dining Services. Her love of her life was found in her family. However, she found peace in the beauty of flowers.

In addition to her parents, Claudine is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry Stump; son, Roy Dean Davis; Daughter, Debra Shepherd; Grandaughter, Jessica Hope Vaught; a sister, Lois Love; and brother, James Huffman.

Left to cherish her memory to their hearts are her daughter, Carloyn Sue Main (Tommy) of Elliston; a step-son, Brad Stump (Jaimie) of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Amber Johnston, Hunter Dean Davis, and Dale Vaught; Step-grandchildren, kennedy, Alex, Bryce, Kaitlan, and Zach; great-grandchildren, Olivia Vaught, Raylin Turner, Zach Leggett, and Debbie Vaught; and a great-great granddaughter, Gemma Robertson.
