Stump, Carolyn Jones

Carolyn Jones Stump, 66, of Christiansburg, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 26, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth ‘Kenny’ Jones.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 47 years, Neal Stump; mother, Irene Jones; daughters, Beth Lucas (Sam), Deborah O’Brien (Danny), Amy Williams (Frank); grandchildren, Bryan Caswell, Madison Lucas, Hannah Lucas, and Abbie Williams; and her brothers, Mike Jones (Holly) and Brian Jones (Becky Wimmer).

Carolyn graduated from CHS in 1972 and retired from Hubble Lighting after 46 ½ years of service, where she was a PTO Specialist in the Engineering Department. She was also a Montgomery County Relay for Life Committee Member and participant for over 12 years.

Carolyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. Anyone who knew her was touched by her. She was the most selfless and beautiful soul. She was our Angel on earth and now heaven has gained her. To our ‘Angel’ – you will be missed beyond belief. We will strive to carry on your legacy of caring, giving, and love beyond compare. Until we see you again. “Love you more”.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at 11 a.m. at New Hope Church of God, with Pastor T. Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
