Strong, Robert A.

Robert A. (Bobby) Strong, 43, of St. Cloud, Florida, formerly of Pearisburg and Dublin, Va., passed away on April 5, 2006, due to complications from surgery.

He was born on September 19, 1962. He attended Giles High School and graduated Pulaski High School class of 1980. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and an avid fisherman and golfer. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald L. Strong.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Samantha Strong, of the home; his mother, Bonnie Canterbury Strong of Evington, Va.; three sisters, Debra Coogle and husband, Kenney of Jay, Fla., Delaine “Dee” Lemon and fianc?, Frank Pace of Evington, Va., and Dawn Runyon and husband, Wendell of Bedford, Va.; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, greatnieces, and great-nephews.

A candlelight memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Timberlake Christian Church, 20261 Lynchburg Highway (Route 460), Lynchburg, Va. 24502.
