Strickland, Sr., Michael Sean
Michael Sean Strickland Sr also known as “Mouse”, 54 of Ripplemead, VA departed this life February 12, 2023 suddenly in his home. Born in Jacksonville, Florida on January 24, 1969 he was a son of Charles and Kathleen “Kakki” Sanders Strickland.
Michael was disabled from Caterpillar. He loved his family and enjoyed wood working or whittling; mechanic work, hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Charles Strickland.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Michael Sean Strickland Jr. of Pearisburg, and Lee Strickland of Pearisburg; daughter, Kelsey Strickland; several grandchildren; his parents, Charles Strickland of Florida, and Kakki Strickland of Goldbond, Virginia; a special friend, Brenda Lee Cumbee; and two special nieces, Alisha Williston (Justin), and Crystal Lee.
A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Sanders Cemetery in Ripplemead, VA with Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. I worked with Mouse for years and known him even longer! He was like a brother, we fought like cats and dogs and still would go through fire for each other. I’ve missed him these last years and find comfort knowing Gods taking care of him .
