Stowers, Bennie Wayne

Bennie Wayne Stowers, 49, of Christiansburg, Va., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Lewis Gale Hospital – Montgomery. He was born in West Virginia on February 22, 1966.

He enjoyed watching his daughter, Leanna, play softball and traveling with his son, Luke, to concerts.

He is survived by his daughter, Leanna Stowers; son, Luke Stowers; mother, Dorothy Stowers; sister, Debbie Stowers; brother, Ricky Stowers; best friend, Keith Brookman; and his companion, Annabelle.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Jerry Sheppard and Pastor Richard Kingrea officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Luke and Leanna Stowers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening, March 13, 2015, at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg, Va., 540-552-3211.
