Stover, William Howard

William Howard Stover, 73, of Christiansburg died on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at Montgomery Regional Hospital.

He was born in Montgomery County, Va. on January 25, 1934 to the late James Charles and Mary Lucy Richardson Stover. He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Howard Ray and Debra Stover of Radford and Gary Wayne Stover of Radford; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ruth and Phillip Howard of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Julie Ann Stover, Brandy Gearheart, Steven Snider, Leo and Gary Stover, and Hannah Stover; stepgranddaughter, Shannon Winters and husband, Eric; stepgreat-grandchildren, Dale Winters and Chloe Winters; special friends, Doug, Robert, and Kenneth Keith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, October 1, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the North Fork Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. James Bishop officiating. Per Mr. Stover’s request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. SW, Blacksburg.
