kinkade-church-imageArnold Wilbert “Jack” Stoots, Sr., age 91 of Pulaski passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born April 4, 1923 in Pulaski, he was the son of the late James Monroe Stoots and Rachel Williams Stoots. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Naomi Tabor, and Anna Bell Rogers; one brother, Moro Stoots, and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Anne Stoots.

He was an active and devoted member of the First Church of the Brethren. He was employed by Coleman Furniture Company for 40 years and retired from Pulaski Furniture.

He is survived by-His wife of 72 years- Helen Campbell Stoots-Pulaski

Fay and Don Beverly-Dublin,

Susan and Troy Nichols-Dublin,

Richard and Shelby Stoots- Draper,

Numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends

Funeral services will be held Monday 2:00 p.m., April 21, 2014 at the Pulaski First Church of the Brethren with Pastor Frank Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be sent to the Pulaski First Church of the Brethren,1749 Newbern Road, Pulaski, VA 24301.
