Stone, Cornelia Preston

Cornelia Preston Stone, 91, of Radford, died Thursday, April 17, 2008, at her home. She was the widow of Dr. Carey A. Stone Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Elsie G. Preston.

Surviving are two sons, Dr. Stephen Preston Stone, Charleston, S.C., and Dr. Carey A. Stone III, Ann Arbor, Mich.; two grandchildren, Stephen Preston Jr. and Cary DeCamp Stone.

Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the residence, 121 Greenbrier Drive, Radford. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carilion New River Valley Hospice. Arrangements by DeVilbiss Funeral Home, Radford.
