Stewart, Jr., Timothy Elbert

Timothy Elbert Stewart, Jr., 56, of Porter St., Narrows, VA, departed this life Thursday evening, March 22, 2018 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA. Born in Pearisburg on October 16, 1961, he was a son of the late Herman Elbert and Edna Louise Brown Stewart. He had been employed as an electrician with Simmons Construction Co. and a devoted member of Riverview Baptist Church in Ripplemead. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Leon Stewart.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of twenty years Jennifer Sharp Stewart; his sons Timothy E Stewart, Jr and his wife Kelli of Floyd Co, Roger Dale Huffman,, Jr of Narrows, Brian Keith Huffman of Christiansburg, and Jason Allen Stewart of Narrows; his brother Michael Stewart of Narrows; his sisters Bertie Clement of Lake Logan, Ohio and Sharon Stewart of Pearisburg; and his granddaughter Jessica Stewart.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm in Riverview Baptist Church, Ripplemead, with Pastor Shahn Wilburn officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm before the services. A graveside burial service will be conducted Wednesday morning at 11:00 am in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke is in charge of the arrangements.
