Stewart, Jennie L.

Jennie L. Stewart, 81, of Landenberg, Pa., and formerly of Christiansburg, Va., and Baltimore, Md., passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014, at the Pocopson Home. Born in Christiansburg, Va., she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Revella Bannister Stewart. Jennie was a quality inspector at Maryland Cup for many years. She loved people and being out, and enjoyed being with her family. She is survived by two daughters, Johnnie Smith, of Baltimore, Md., and Damita MacFarlane and her husband, Earl, of Landenberg, Pa.; six grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, Michael Traynham; two brothers, Samuel Stewart and George Wallace Paige; and two sisters, Rilla Mae Burch and Annie Meta Milton. You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, February 28, 2014, at St. Joseph’s Church, 1012 French Street, Wilmington, Del.
