Jeffrey Powell Stewart, 58, of Narrows, Va., was called home on Sunday, September 29, 2013, surrounded by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Eugene Stewart. He is survived by his mother, Mary Vest Albert; his loving wife, Cindy Stewart; sons, Jeff Stewart and wife, Jennifer, Marcus Stewart and daughter, Samantha Akers; daughter, Amy Stevens and husband, Will; two grandchildren, Lavkin and Lauren Stewart; and brothers, Daniel Stewart and wife, Jill, Greg Stewart and wife, Lois, and Steve Stewart and wife, Tommi. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, White Gate with Jimmie Vest officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. Jeff requested to be cremated and burial will follow at a later date. Arrangements by A.
