Stevers, Beulah Victoria (Boots)

stevers_beulah_victoriaBeulah Victoria (Boots) Stevers, 83, of Pembroke, departed this life Wednesday afternoon, May 11, 2011, at her home. Born in Giles County on December 29, 1927, she was a daughter of the late John and Ida Gertrude Meredith Radford, of Eggleston. She was a member of Pembroke Assembly of God and was retired from RAAP in Radford and Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Blacksburg. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jessie William Stevers; her son, Kermit L. Stevers; her brothers, Basil Radford and Earnest Radford; and her sisters, Kathleen Fuller and Lois Smith Porterfield. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Charlotte P. Neice, of Pembroke, Drema S. Thompson, of the home, and Derhonda S. Goad, of Hillsville and her husband, Randall; her grandchildren, Tabitha Heinlein, Dewayne Neice, William B. Thompson, Anthony L. Thompson, Jessie Hunley, Kermit Hunley; and stepgrandson, Zachary Goad; her great-grandchildren, Cody Heinlein, Hayley Thompson, and Savannah Thompson; and her sister and brother-in-law, Jane R. and Owen Martin, of McCoy; and a special friend, Terry Fisher. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday evening at 6 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home, 605 Snidow St., Pembroke, with Pastor Terry Eversole and Pastor Eddie Kendall officiating. Burial will be in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg following cremation. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
