Stephens, Isabelle Miller

Isabelle Miller Stephens, 81, of Christiansburg, Va., died on Saturday, December 11, 2010. She was born in Floyd County, Ky., on November 21, 1929, to the late Albert Carl and Thelma Warrix Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Bryan Stephens. She is survived by her children, Sandra Hale, of Durango, Colo., Catherine Stephens, of Christiansburg, Va., Ben Stephens, of Winchester, Ky., Paul Stephens, of Lancaster, Pa., Bonnie Blanton, of VanLear, Ky., and Andrea Beard, of Harrisonburg, Va.; sister, Sue Wright, of Oxford, Ohio; brother, Albert Dale Miller, of Concord, Va.; five grandchildren, James Hale Jr., Kevin Stephens, Chris Blanton, Casey Beard and Lee Beard; and four great-grandchildren, Traci, Lainie, Mason, and Henry Stephens. A memorial service will be conducted in Floyd County, Ky., at a date to be announced. Following the service, burial will take place in the Stephens Family Cemetery in Prestonsburg, Ky. Memorial services will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2010, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tommy McDearis and Dr. Don McKinney officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, and from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg, Va., 540-552-3211.
