Starling, Harold Lee

Harold Lee Starling, 64, of Pulaski, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2013, at the New River Valley Medical Center. He was a retired Road Supervisor with Yates Construction Co. He was a member of the Pulaski Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was born at White Store, N.C. on September 30, 1948. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Margaret Jarrell Starling and by his siblings, Dewey, James and Teresa. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Nancy Starling; his five children, Judy Hodges, David, Paul, Jason and Amber Starling; two brothers, Michael and James T. Starling; two sisters, Janet McQuage and Helen McGougan; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a multitude of friends. Memorial services will be held Monday, January 7, 2013 at 7 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2681 Old Route #100 Road, Draper, Va. with Owen McKinnie serving as the officiant.
