Stafford, William Clyde

William Clyde ( Bill) Stafford, 60, of Dublin, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at Montgomery Regional Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Stafford Jr. and is survived by his mother, Lena Combs Stafford, Dublin; one brother and sister-in-law, David and Sheila Stafford, Pearisburg; three sisters and brothersin-law, Faye and Daniel Atkins, Cleveland, Ohio, Reba and Charles (Buck) Harrell, Dublin, and Betty and Rayburn Woodyard, Winston-Salem, N.C.; seven nephews; seven nieces; five great-nephews; and eight great-nieces.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 2008, at French’s Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Billy Akers and the Rev. Dallas Jewel officiating. Burial in the Staffordsville Cemetery, Staffordsville. The visitation will be at French’s Chapel Church on Friday, March 21, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. Arrangements by A.
