St. John, Ruth Hopkins Hare
Ruth Hopkins Hare St. John, 90, of 4270 Miller Ln., Pulaski, Va., died Friday, October 16, 2009, at the Radford Nursing and Rehab. Center. She was born in Wythe Co. on October 16, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Charles Vinton Hopkins and Emma Collins Hopkins. She was also preceded in death by husbands, Frank E. Hare and George St. John.
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Nedra Hare, of Pulaski; stepchildren and spouses, Kathy and Perry Poston and Jan and Charles Walker; brothers and sistersin-law, Jesse and Arbutus Hopkins, of Pulaski, Charles Hopkins, of Draper, Thomas Clinton and Nancy Hopkins, of Richmond, Marion and Nora Hopkins, of Pulaski; grandchildren, Greg, Susan, Shannon, Chuck, Leigh and Jason; five greatgrandchildren; and special pet, Bonita.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. from Stevens Funeral Chapel, Pulaski. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. Visiting will be Sunday evening from the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m.

The family will be meeting at the residence of the brother and sister-in-law, Marion and Nora Hopkins, 1304 Hopkins Drive, Pulaski.
