Sprano, Francis Marie

Francis Marie Sprano, 89, of Pulaski, died at home on Monday, February 4, 2013. She was born on November 6, 1923, in Comfort, Texas, and was the daughter of the late Richard and Martha Herbst. Mrs. Sprano is survived by her husband, Edward, and brother Charles of Tyler, Texas. Francis Marie was a tireless worker and faithful servant to her family, and friends and was sustained throughout life by her unswerving faith in God and by the love of Jesus her Lord. Mrs. Sprano was preceded in death by her son, Jonathan, and is survived by her other children, daughter, Mary, of Pulaski, son, Richard and his wife, Linda, of Henderson, Texas, son Michael and his wife, Dianne, of Pahrump, N.V. son, Peter and his wife, Sue, of Wythville, and son Timothy, of Lynchburg; special relations, Tom and Sue Hanrahan, of Shelton, Conn.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2013, at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin with the Rev. Jim Linkous officiating.
