Spradling, Elsie Leone

Elsie Leone Spradling, 102, of Christiansburg passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil E. Spradling, Sr; daughter, Nancy Brown; granddaughter, Karen Renee Cole; grandson, Andrew Ross Spradling; great grandson, Benjamin David Deardorff. She was also the last of fifteen siblings.

Elsie is survived by her children and their spouses, Cecelia and Vonley Cole, Cecil E. Spradling, Jr., Jerry L. and Debbie J. Spradling; extended family, special friends and all that loved her and knows that she loved them.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg, VA at 3 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel.
