Spradlin, Jimmie Lee

Jimmie Lee Spradlin, 62, of Christiansburg, Va., went to be with Jesus on Monday, May 18, 2009. He was born on January 21, 1947, to the late Wilson L. and Fannie L. Spradlin.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Thelma Spradlin; sister, Nancy Huffman; sons, Jimmie Jr. and Ann, Jammie and Liza, Joshua, and Eddie Osborne and Dee; daughters, Janice Meeks and Darol, and Melissa Nedoszytko and Rich; and grandchildren, the love of his life, Dakota Spradlin, Anissa Spradlin, Brandon Spradlin (his little slugger), Danielle Wade, Stephanie Weeks, Ryan Hawley, Riley Hawley, Tylor Nedoszytko, and Avery Osborne.

A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2009, from the chapel of Horne Funeral Service with Ed Galimore officiating. Internment will follow in the Spradlin Family Cemetery, Christiansburg, Va. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2009, and Friday, May 22, 2009.
