Spicer, Debrah Darlene

Debra Darlene Spicer, 51, of Narrows, Va., passed away Sunday, December 19, 2010, at her home. A lifelong resident of Giles County, she was born on March 23, 1959. Preceding her in death was her daddy and mother, Claude and Hester Spicer; mommy, Patricia Sexton; two sisters, Bonnie Ellen Stables and Valerie Darlene Spicer; and a beloved pet, Shadow. Debra was an employee of Celanese Acetate in Narrows with 25 years service. She was loved dearly by cousins, neighbors, co-workers and friends. She leaves behind a stepdad, Ray Sexton, of Narrows; four sisters, Sharon Sexton, Rhonda Thornton, Rose Lauver, Sandra Melanson; in her heart three special daughters, Megan Boyce, Rebecca and Debbie Lee Thornton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows with the Rev. Bill Brown, along with Tommy Gordon officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Narrows.
