Richard F. Spencer, 53, of Pilot, took his last buggy ride to his final resting place with his Lord and Savior. He is preceded in death by his father, William C. Spencer. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Connie Spencer; son and daughter-in-law, Drago Spencer and wife, Trish; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica Causey and husband, Shawn; son and daughter-in-law, Justin Spencer and wife, Loni; son, Lee Spencer; grandchildren, Faith Spencer, Camdon Causey, Hailee Spencer, Shawna, Trey and Taylor Huffman, Mackenzie Causey, Remington Conner and Samantha Ratcliff; mother, Summie Spencer; sisters, Janet Hale, Joyce Spencer, and Martha Spencer; special friends, the Scott Richardson family. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2011 at Stonewall House of Prayer 134 Stonewall Road, Floyd, VA with Pastor Dan Whitlock officiating.
