Spence, Allen Crocket

Allen Crocket Spence, 84, of Willis, Va., passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2008. Allen was a World War II Veteran who serviced in France and Germany. He was born on May 19, 1924, to the late Ellis Bud and Flotilla Moles Spence. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include brother and sister-in-law, Trenton and Beatrice Spence, of Claudville, Va.; sisters, Corinna Dougill, of Independence, Va., and Nelderee Reynolds, of Willis, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at Maberry Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Turpin officiating. Interment to follow in Blue Ridge Cemetery.
