Spaulding, Bonnie Musselman East

Bonnie Musselman East Spaulding, 75, of Christiansburg, died Friday, April 5, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She was born in Montgomery County, on December 10, 1937 to the late Dot and Ercell Martin Musselman. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Holly Renee East, and a sister, Brenda Quesenberry.

She is survived by her husband, James “Shorty” Spaulding; two daughters, Cathy East, and Crystal Spaulding; son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie and Lorie East; grandchildren, Timothy Wayne East, Clayton (Clay) East, and Loni Spencer; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Gillispie and Mary Hawley; and three brothers, Donnie Musselman, Wayne Musselman, and Teddy Musselman.

Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Greg Webb officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
