Spangler, Jean Elizabeth

Jean Elizabeth Spangler, 74, died Saturday, July 28, 2007 at the Riverview Nursing home in Rich Creek, Va. Born September 20, 1932 at Rich Creek, Va., she was the daughter of the late Oren "Togo" and Evelyn Shaw Spangler.

Jean was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rich Creek, Va. and was a past employee of Mclaughlin’s Drug Store as a Clerk. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother; Lewis Spangler.

Survivors include one brother; Alfred Spangler and his wife Sue of Rich Creek, Va.; one sister; Euna S. Allen of Rich Creek, Va.; three nieces; one nephew; four great-nieces and four great-nephews.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel, Peterstown, W.Va., with the Rev. Jim Pickett officiating. Burial will follow at the Peterstown Cemetery, Rich Creek, Va. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2007 at the funeral home.
