Whittaker, Jerry Michael

Jerry Michael Whittaker, 61 of Narrows, passed away Friday, March 7, 2008, at his home.

He was born on July 27, 1946 and was the son of the late Clifton and Margaret Fillinger Whittaker. He attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Narrows.

He is survived by two brothers, Waverly Whittaker, of Narrows and Myron J. Whittaker and wife, Brenda, of Pearisburg; a sister, Linda W. Howard, of Narrows; a nephew, James Howard, of Narrows; three nieces, Ann Fisher, of Narrows, Kimberly Rose, of Oakvale, West Virginia and Tammy Shrewsberry, of Pearisburg; and a special caretaker, Liz Spicer, of Narrows.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2008, in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service, Narrows, with the Rev. Terry Mays officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Narrows.
