Crawford, William A.

William A. Crawford, 55, of Narrows, Va., died Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at Carilion Giles Memorial Hospital in Pearisburg. He was born in Pearisburg, Va. on July 4, 1953. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur L. (Ott) Crawford. He is survived by his mother, Alice Emaline Crawford, of Narrows; a brother, Robert L. Crawford, of Roanoke; a sister, Cynthia D. Crawford, of Christiansburg; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2009, in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service, in Narrows, with the Rev. Dennis Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Narrows.
