Sale, W. Stuart

W. Stuart Sale, of Blacksburg, passed away Friday, January 18, 2008. He was born November 8, 1926 in Norfolk, Va. and served in the United States Army Air Force in World War II, graduated with a degree in engineering from VPI in 1951, and raised four children with his wife, June S. Sale, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his children, Nancy Simko and husband, Bob, of Manchester, Ga., Richard S. Sale and wife, Shelia, of Sumerduck, Va., Courtney Roth and husband, Nathan, of Mena, Ark., Patricia Harrison and husband, Randy, of Radford, Virginia. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Monday, January 21, 2008, 11 a.m., at Christ Episcopal Church, Church and Jackson Streets, Blacksburg.
