Pack, Jessie Bain Bowman

Jessie Bain Bowman Pack, 95, of Fairlawn, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at her home.

She was born November 12, 1912, in Patrick County, Va., to the late Junus Bowman and Sarah India Bowman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fletcher Pack; two daughters, Mildred Simmons and Sadie Pack; three grandchildren, Lori Ann Pack, Michael Pack and Donald Wayne Pack; brother and wife, Cossie and Elsie Bowman; brother, Cebond Bowman; sisters and husbands, Peggy and Carl Alley, Mae and Leslie Turpin, Anner and Sherley Manning, and Lucy and Beth Moles.

Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, India and Johnny Wilson, Pulaski, Barbara "Bobbie" and Howard Weddle, Fairlawn, Linda and Garry Andrews, Pulaski, and Wanda Jones, Pulaski; sons and daughters-in-law, Herbert and Elizabeth Pack, Dublin, Johnny and Betty Pack, Shady Grove, Fla., Eston "Pete" and Sherry Pack, Odenton, Md., Donald and Ina Pack, Fairlawn, Kenneth "Butch" and Marsha Pack, Dublin, and Clifton and Helen Pack, Fairlawn; 23 grandchildren; 25 greatgrandchildren; five great-greatgrandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special caregiver, Jeanette Younce, Fairlawn.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2008, at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Lester Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends Friday evening, January 11, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski.
