Neal, Bonnie L. McClaugherty

Pearisburg, VA – Bonnie L. McClaugherty Neal age 61, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2009. Born October 2, 1947 in Pearisburg, VA she was the daughter of Helen Louise Meredith McClaugherty of Christiansburg, VA and the late Arthur Dean McClaugherty. Bonnie was employed by the Giles County Public School System for 30 years. In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband William E. “Billy” Neal of Pearisburg, VA, Sheri Cunningham and husband Craig of Pembroke, VA and Shelley D. Neal of Pearisburg, VA, one brother, Donnie McClaugherty and wife Geneva of Christiansburg, VA, one sister, Betty J. McClaugherty of Christiansburg, VA, four grandchildren: Katie Cunningham, Evan Williams, Taylor Williams and Austin Cunningham, several nieces and nephews and a great nephew. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shahn Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow in the Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg, VA. Friends may call from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at the funeral home.
