Clower, Kenneth A.

Kenneth Alton Clower, 53, of Riner, passed away Monday, January 1, 2008, at Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem, N.C. after a long illness.

He was a life member of the Riner Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Clower.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Clower; a daughter, Kaitlin Clower; his mother, Chlorine M. Clower; brother and sister-in-law, E.J. and Debbie Clower; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many special friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Riner Fire Department, P.O. Box 11, Riner, Va. 24149 or the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, Riner Station, P.O. Box 176, Christiansburg, Va. 24068.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2008, at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 4, 2008, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Shake Smith and the Rev.
