Reed, Angela Della

Angela Della Reed, 91, of Circle Drive in Pembroke, departed this life Wednesday evening, January 9, 2008, at home, in the loving care of her family.

Born in Mercer County, W.Va., on March 3, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Samuel David and Mary Bowden Wimmer. Angela was a devoted Christian and member of Olean Church of The Brethren at Goldbond, was a Senior Citizen Volunteer, and somewhat of a quilting expert.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul P. Reed Sr.; a son, Paul P. Reed Jr.; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Reed; and several brothers and sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Gary Reed, of Pembroke; a daughter, Teressa Reed, of Pembroke; a daughter-in-law and care giver, Mary F. Reed, of Pembroke; six grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; and one greatgreat-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday evening, January 11, 2008, at Riverview Baptist Church in Ripplemead with Pastor Michael Tabor and Pastor Rodger Boothe officiating. Pastor Shahn Wilburn and Pastor Eddie Kendall will be assisting. Entombment will be in Birchlawn Abbey in Pearisburg, at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2008.
