Simms, Bessie Frances

Bessie Frances Simms, 93, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2008, at her home in Radford, Va. She was a member of the Radford Worship Center and retired from the Christiansburg Garment Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Steven Simms. Survivors include her son, Edward S. Simms Jr., of Radford; and a half sister, Sylvia Coe, of Pulaski. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2008, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford with the Rev. Glennard Quesenberry officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery in Radford. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at the funeral home.
