Sowers, Eula Hale

Eula Hale Sowers, 85, of Christiansburg, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Addie Hale; husband, Harold Sowers; brothers, Artes, Arlen, Irvin, and Cebert Hale; daughter, Barbara Jean Taylor; son, Donald Ray Sowers.

Survivors include sons, Walter Sowers, Christiansburg, Randy Sowers, Christiansburg; grandson, Brian Sowers and wife Jennifer, Christiansburg; three great-granddaughters; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at Red Oak Grove Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Jimmy Cannaday and the Rev. Elbert Lee Naff officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Cemetery, Floyd. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd.
