Southern, Alan Kelly

Alan Kelly Southern, age 73, of Christiansburg died, Monday, January 24, 2022, at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. He was born in Montgomery County, Va. on March 22, 1948 to the late John Wayne and Grace Lawson Southern. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dreama Southern, and daughter, Carolyn Southern.

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Kelly and Linda Southern, James and Sharon Southern, Bobby Southern, grandchildren, C.C., Amanda, Justin, Jamie, A.J., numerous great-grandchildren, sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Bill Schmidt, brother and sister-in-law, Freddie and Frances Southern.

Due to his wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
