Snidow, Mary Dee

Mary Dee Snidow, 83, of Kow Camp Road in Pembroke, died Friday morning, December 29, 2006 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born at Laurel Branch in Monroe Co., W.Va. on April 11, 1923 and was preceded in death by her husband, Joe J. Snidow.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons and three daughters, Don Edward and wife, Sally M. Snidow, of Leesburg, Va., David Allen Snidow of Pembroke, Va., Barbara S. Meredith and husband, William Conklin, of Pembroke, Va., Peggy S. and husband, Don Worley, of Woolwine, Va., Shelvy S. Worley of Pembroke, Va.; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Irene K. Hodge of Pearisburg.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 31, 2006 at 2 p.m. in The Kendall Funeral Home at 605 Snidow St. in Pembroke with the Pastor Eddie Kendall and the Rev. Bobby Sutphin officiating. Burial will follow in Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg.
